Video and Music Competition
Pushed to the Edge: Asian American Youth at Risk
Youth, tell your story! Speak Out!
Submit a video or song that concerns the struggles of Asian American Youth (i.e. drugs, violence, academic pressure, dual alienation, mental health, domestic violence, parental issues, and other pressures. Submissions can be processed via email or mail. Submissions must be paired with a short paragraph describing their work along with an application.
Video & Music Competition Application
Prizes
First Prize: Apple Macbook
Second Prize: Cash Prizes and TBA
Top winner affiliated with organization or church will be awarded $500. Applicants must identify organization or church at time of submission.
Guidlines
- Video Submission: 30s-3min (Please submit in MPEG or AVI Formats)
- Music Submissions: (Please submit in Mp3 Format)
- Profanity and sexual content is prohibited
- Deadline: Sept. 10, 2008

KCCDHCA Foreclosure Prevention and House Preservation Counseling
KCCD conducts free counseling sessions for those home owners who are having difficulty making their mortgage payments. The counseling session consists of extensive intake, monthly household budget, mortgage document review, and analysis of hardships. Upon the needs of the client, KCCD counselors can contact the lenders on client's behalf to start negotiation.
Counseling Schedule

Walk-In Clients
KCCDHCA takes walk-in clients for counseling sessions during Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday between 9 AM to 12 PM. Dates and times are subject to change without prior notice.
Documents and Preparations
Please be advise that we do not charge for the service. However, we need you to provide the following documents in order for counselors to began counseling. There is no exception on the required documents.
(1) Intake Form - Download [PDF]*
(2) Signatures on the form*
(3) Copy of original loan documents
(4) Copy of most recent tax return
(5) Copy of most recent credit report, if available
(6) Copy of any other documents related to your mortgage(s)
